My name is Kim Montgomery and I am so blessed to be teaching Kindergarten at Our Lady of Grace this year! Teaching and learning have always been passions of mine, and I love to share this with the students I teach. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to become a teacher. I even dressed up as a teacher in Kindergarten when we were allowed to dress up as our future profession!
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University. I have continued to earn credits through coursework at Xavier University to keep up on the latest and greatest in education. After graduation, I long term substituted for a year before I started teaching third grade full time. I taught third grade for thirteen years before moving to Our Lady of Grace to teach Kindergarten. I was ready for a change and couldn’t be happier with where I am!
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have three nieces, two nephews, and another nephew on the way! I also enjoy going to sporting events to watch my students play. It can get pretty busy trying to keep up with all of them! When I am home, I enjoy spending time hanging out with my two dogs, Roxy and Reuben.
