Linda Shore, Our Lady of Grace Speech-Language Pathologist, has 30 years of experience. She worked as a hospital based clinician for 10 years and has worked at Hamilton County ESC for 20 years, servicing both parochial and public school children. She provides screenings, diagnostic assessments, and interventions to identify students with speech and language disabilities. Once identified as a student with a communication disorder, she implements and manages goals for an individual educational program. Linda’s passion is literacy, and she supports the school literacy program by participating in the Intervention Assistance Team, providing classroom mini-lessons and small group instruction in the areas of phonological awareness, phonics, and vocabulary, and by collaborating with teachers and support staff.
Linda graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts and received a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Kean University in New Jersey. In addition, she is a certified Orton Gillingham Reading Teacher. Linda holds a State of Ohio Department of Education Professional License, Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the Ohio Valley Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (OVB/IDA), the International Society for Key Women Educators, Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG), and Children & Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
In her leisure time, Linda sings in the adult choir at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, enjoys her family, and travels around the country.
